Corrosion resistant screws

Corrosion is what ends the service life of a fixing long before the load does. TGR protects its fasteners with four distinct systems, and the right one depends on the exposure: a warehouse roof inland, a coastal facade and a swimming pool enclosure are three different problems.

Below, the range is grouped by protection system rather than by product family, so you can specify by the environment the fixing has to survive. Certified classes are stated where the manufacturer declares them.

Ruspert and AS3566 Class 3/4 — self-drilling range

Multi-layer zinc, ceramic and resin coating. Class 4 is the highest class of AS3566, intended for severe and coastal exposure.

CR-10 corrosion resistant coating — insulation roofing

Standard CR-10 coating; 500 to 2000h NSS or 5 to 30 Kesternich cycles available on request.

Also available: AZ-55 Galvalume seam plates certified to FM4470, stainless steel 304/316 decking screws, and Ruspert or E-coat finishes across the timber range. For a corrosion specification for a particular site, please contact us.
